How do I get started?
1. Click “Sign In” in the upper right-hand corner.
2. Complete your profile using your email address, LinkedIn profile, or Google signon.
3. Answer a few questions if you want to mentor students (skip if not)
4. Start exploring the Sewanee Gateway, connecting with alumni, joining group, and watch for events.
The Sewanee Gateway is OPT-OUT. You can adjust your settings in your profile for how PRIVATE you want your information to be. If you'd rather NOT be part of the Gateway (won't be able to search for alumni info, see City Notes, etc., email alumni@sewanee.edu to delete your record.
Quick Start Guide
The Sewanee Gateway can be used in many helpful ways.
1. To search for information on classmates. Need addresses for your wedding invitations? Tracking down an old flame? Want to email an old roommate with whom you've lost touch?
Click on the DIRECTORY tab and search the entire alumni database to connect with people by name.
2. To look for alumni by area, career field, greek affiliation, etc. Do you want to know the lawyers in your city? Want to see who lives in Atlanta? Find all the bankers who were Phis? Click on the DIRECTORY tab and use the filters to find what you're looking for.
3. To network for career advice, job advice, or for job connections. Use the EXPLORE the COMMUNITY tab and connect with others who are willing to help in these ways.
4. Serve as a career mentor to students or other alumni. Upon registration, indicate what areas and how much you want to help.
5. Engage with alums through groups, discussions, and events.
